Junior sailing courses at MSC are for children aged 9 – 17 years and adhere to the guidelines of Irish Sailing’s Small Boat Sailing Scheme pathway of learning. Courses run Monday to Friday, 10am-4.30pm.
Your junior sailor may need to be booked into the same sailing level they were in last year, especially if they haven’t sailed since then. Their instructors will be able to assess juniors sailing skills and ability during their first week of sailing. If any junior sailor shows competency at that level then he/she may be able to join the next level on the recommendations of the Senior Instructor.
A word of welcome to those booking into the junior courses for the first-time. We ask that all children have a good level of water confidence and wear a Personal Flotation Device at all times suitable for the child’s height and weight. By booking your child into a junior sailing course you are accepting and agreeing to the inherent risk associated with your child attending.
Before booking a course please feel free to familiarise yourself with the policies and procedures here.
If you have any further questions don’t hesitate to contact us by email [email protected] or phone 0871263820. Thank you for your co-operation.
